Ms. Rose has another dedicated reader in me. She really knows how to deliver a fully fleshed-out group of characters.

Chase, Luke, & Alexa. Wow! What to say? A group of damaged individuals coming together & making each other whole? Alexa & Chase have dark & abusive pasts. Those pasts create a lot of second-guessing & soul-searching moments in this 2nd book of the series.

Alexa arrived in the town of Racy with her BFF, Kari (Winning Their Racy Sub). She & Kari open an adult store, which really brings some more fun into the smoking hot sex-scenes. Whew!!! She meets Chase & Luke through Kari's men & begins dating BOTH of them individually. When push comes to shove though, the men agree to come together to make Alexa happy when she can't be happy with only one or the other. As in the 1st book of the series these guys move mountains to give the gal what she needs, putting aside differences & petty jealousies pretty darned quickly.

We meet these three in the 1st book 'Winning Their Racy Sub', and honestly, I wanted to read this 2nd one of the series FIRST but made myself buy & read them in order. I'm so glad I did! While I truly enjoyed "Winning", this one "Claiming" was even better & reading them in order did better set up the storyline. While not necessary to your understanding of the characters, it was nice to be able to revisit with Kari, Adison, & Noah in this one.

Alexa helps set up the 3rd book in the series "Tempting" by introducing us to her therapist, Julie. We also meet secondary characters (Doms) Maddox & Sean in books 1 & 2. It seems Ms. Rose is creating not only a family, but a community of characters that you can't help but fall in love with.

Again, while this is described as a BDSM story it is more along the lines of BDSM-lite, which is perfect for me! Okay, now I'm off to read the 3rd book in the series "Tempting Their Racy Shrink". Can't wait to learn more about Julie, Maddox, & Sean!

I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I love how this story flows and it has a little bit of suspense and a whole lot of sexual chemistry. This is a very emotional story with characters that you can connect with. I can't wait for the next book in this series.
Love this book. Great Story. Makes you want to move to Racy.
This was just as great as the first book. It's about Alexa (friend of Kari from book 1) who is falling in love with two men Chase and Luke but is afraid because of her troubled past. There is again some hot sex! Steamy! Then as usually something unexpected happens that prompts Alexa to trust in her men because they would do anything to protect her. A great second book in this series can't wait to find out what happens in the next book!
Claiming Their Racy Sub is going down as one of my favorite from Tara Rose. I love her characters in Racy Indiana but I really like Alexa Monahan. She has such a big heart for someone so broken and a corkiness about her anyone would love. Yet despite her troubled past she pushes through life and makes the best out of what she has been handed. She is a truly loyal friend and passionate lover to Luke and Chase.

The story picks up right where Winning Her Racy Heart left off. Alexa is still getting to know Luke and Chase and dates them openly. She has much to over come throughout the book but with her friends and the love of Luke and Chase she is able to conquer her fears and look them right in the face. Tara does a great job of bring her characters together in this book as they fall in love.
Also throughout the book you get a glimpse of new characters such as Julie, Alexa's shrink and Sean, Racy Indian's own sexy police detective.

Can't wait to read Tempting Their Racy Shrink!!!

And let me just add that the BDSM in this book is WOW! HOT! HOT! HOT!
This book and this series just didn't do it for me. I was bored reading both this book and the first. I don't think I'll be purchasing more in this series.
Another wonderful Racy book from Tara Rose. I love them all.

My Review

I thoroughly enjoyed Claiming Their Racy Sub, almost more than I enjoyed Winning Her Racy Heart (Racy Nights Bk. 1). Alexa is a very charming, yet complex young woman who is damaged from a traumatic childhood and the abuse of her previous Dom. Luke is shy and sweet. He is every woman's friend but never their lover and is the shoulder on which Alexa can lean upon. Chase is yummy and delicious with just the right amount of steel to be strong yet tender for Alexa. Together these men blow your socks off. They are passionate yet tender and very aware of past damage and abuse that Alexa has suffered and they work through any issues they have together to be all that they can be for her, and to keep her safe, by their side, and always feeling cherished. There was one moment where I seriously considered jumping into the book and kicking Alexa's rear end (you just do not kick naked, yummy, sweet, hot guys out of your bed), but since that was the most frustration I felt reading this book, I won't complain at all. I have to point out that I love how Ms. Rose brings sex toys into the mix. Her descriptions of them and their uses in showing Alexa the power of healing with men who know how to use them as opposed to being abused by them by the wrong man was well portrayed and heart-warming (not to mention panty-drenching). Overall, I'd say this is a very solid, infinitely satisfying, completely heart-wrenching read (Alexa's pain and past broke my heart). The suspense and plot were well thought out and executed brilliantly, they flowed well and it was easy to follow along with, but I do think you will find this book more enjoyable if you read Winning Her Racy Heart before Claiming Their Racy Sub. To me, this book was almost a continuation from the first book, just with two new heroes and a new heroine. I really appreciate and enjoy seeing glimpses of previous characters in new books and Ms. Rose did a fantastic job mentioning Kari, Noah, and Adison during Alexa's story. This book receives 4.5 of 5 stars from me.
